EMW does not have dedicated parking spots for patients. You should park on the street or in a parking garage.
There is an anti-abortion clinic next door to EMW. This anti-abortion is sponsored by anti-abortion groups who will try to delay/discourage you from entering EMW Women’s Surgical Center. It’s easy to confuse the two units, but BsideU is not the abortion clinic.
BsideU has a private parking lot behind their unit. Don’t park there, even though they have signs stating that you can. BsideU may offer you a free ultrasound. EMW Women’s Surgical Center will not be able to accept their ultrasound. EMW’s licensed medical staff will need to perform an ultrasound to accurately date how many weeks you are pregnant.
The State of Kentucky requires a face-to-face consent 24 hours before your procedure. This consent can take place in-person at EMW or by video consent via your computer or smartphone. For more information, contact the clinic.
