Built by people who’ve had abortions for people who will, ineedana.com launched in 2016 as the first comprehensive, regularly updated, and personalized resource for abortion seekers in the US. Since then, we’ve been called the “Quintessential Post-Roe Resource” by The Nation, appeared on John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight, and, most importantly to us, have helped more than one million people get abortions. As a small and independent non-profit project, we couldn’t do it without the support of our volunteers and donors.

We only ask for three non-personally identifiable pieces of information to help improve your experience.

We ask you your age, because if you’re a minor, your state may require parental consent and we want to give you the most relevant information for that process.

We use this to determine which clinics are closest to you, which state laws may impact your experience, and show you state specific Abortion Funds for potential financial aid.

This helps us provide the most relevant information on the medical options that are available. For example, if you input your last period was >10 weeks ago, we don’t show you information on medical abortion because it is not available in the U.S. beyond 10 weeks.
